Flowers that truly give back

Flowers for Fundraising was founded on one simple, but guiding principle - FLOWERS THAT TRULY GIVE BACK.  That starts with you.  Selling our flowers generates money to support your organization. That's great, but did you know that your flower purchase allows us to employ more people? And, our employment goals are much different than most businesses. Our founders have a daughter with significant disabilities.  This inspired them to create a company that could  provide employment opportunities to the talented individuals in the Disability Community, who are often excluded from traditional employment. In addition, the flower farms we select are carefully chosen not just because of their excellent quality, but also because of their commitment to using only the highest standard of environmentally friendly farming practices, AS WELL AS providing a variety of health, educational, child care and other benefits dedicated to improving the lives of each of their employees and their surrounding communities.

From farm to your fundraiser, these flowers improve the lives of everyone they touch.

Beautiful Flowers that can be shipped anywhere in the US

is it possible to export a paper order form?

Yes, you can export a paper order form those cases where an online form does not work.  Our Flower Concierge will explain how to download this form once your store is set up.

do i need to schedule a One-on-One Phone Meeting?

You are not required to set up a meeting after you are notified that "Your Flower Store" is up and running.  However, if you have never managed your online fundraiser through "Your Flower Store", WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU SCHEDULE A MEETING.  During these meetings one of our Flower Concierges will review your site to ensure everything is accurate, as well as, explain how to operate and manage your online store, and teach you how to turn it on and turn it off.  They will review how to collect orders and how to export them so you know how many flowers you have sold, and to whom, so that you can determine the correct number of flowers you will need to order at the conclusion of your fundraising sale. Our staff is here to ensure your success, and that begins with a thorough understanding of how this order form works.  It is not hard to understand, but a simple explanation is most helpful.

As a reminder, when your families place their flower orders on "Your Flower Store", they are placing an order with you, and their payment goes directly into either your PayPal or Stripe account.  THEY ARE NOT PLACING AN ORDER WITH FLOWERS FOR FUNDRAISING.  "Your Flower Store" is an excellent and easy tool for you to use to collect orders from individuals.  But, in order to receive your flowers, YOU MUST PLACE AN ORDER ON THE FLOWERS FOR FUNDRAISING website, or call one of our Flower Concierges AT LEAST 7 DAYS PRIOR TO THE DATE YOU WANT YOUR FLOWERS DELIVERED to pay for and finalize you order. If you fail to do this, no flower orders will be shipped.

When do i need to order my flowers?

The flowers you sell are not automatically shipped to you.  When your fundraiser is over (you've stopped selling),you will need to go to FlowersforFundraising.com to place your final flower order.  THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT.  No flowers will be shipped until you place your final order on the FlowersforFundraising website.  You can do this yourself, or you can contact one of our Flower Conceirges to assist you.

For the majority of the year, all flower orders must be placed a minimum of 7 days prior to the date you wish to receive your flowers.  We, and we cannot stress this enough, DO NOT recommend choosing a Friday as your delivery date.  We recommend all flowers be delivered at least 2 days prior to your event date.  Your flower concierge will go over the reasons for this, but it is important to remember that you need to place your final flower order AT LEAST 7 DAYS PRIOR TO THE DATE YOU WISH TO RECEIVE THEM (not your event date).

PLEASE NOTE:  If you are placing flower orders during high demand seasons (Valentine's Day & Mother's Day particularly), be advised that flowers can and do sell out during these holidays.  In addition, seasonal colors and some very popular bouquets can also sell out in advance.  Therefore, some products may indicate that you need to place your final orders for these bouquets more than 7 days in advance.  In addition, if you are looking for seasonal colors, or are planning an event around these holidays, WE STRONGLY ADVISE ordering as early as possible.  Waiting until 7 days prior may result in a product or color substitution.  Lock in your product and color choice early to ensure they are inventoried for your organiztion.

How long before our event should the flowers arrive?

We recommend having the flowers arrive 2 days before your event in the case of any unforseeen shipping issues.   All of our flowers are delivered via UPS or FedEx, and these carriers have an excellent reputation for on time deliveries.  However, bad weather and mechanical issues do occasionally arise.  While this is rare, selecting a delivery date 2 days prior to your event will provide a day of cushion should anything unforseen arise.  And yes, your flowers will still be okay.  They are prepped for air travel at the farm, and stored in refrigerated locations until they reach your local UPS or Fed Ex hub.  They may be tired (lke you are after a long flight), but cut all of the flower stems and place in them in fresh, clean water and give them 24 hours to hydrate and they will be ready to impress.

Do I need to Take The Flowers Out of Their Boxes when they arrive?

Yes, Yes, Yes.  It is very important that you take all of your bouquets out of their boxes as soon as you receive them.  While your flowers were prepped for travel at the farm, they have still traveled a long distance to get to you and will look a bit tired once they arrive (just like you after an international flight).  And just like you, they won't look or perform their best right out of the box.  What they need is to be removed from their tight cargo boxes as soon as possible (would you like to be crammed into the middle seat any longer than necessary?), given a fresh cut to all their stems, and immediately given a drink (again, just like us),  of fresh, clean water.   DO NOT OVERCROWD THE BOUQUETS while they are hydrating.  Once they start drinking, they will relax and start opening up (YAY!).  And when they open up, your flowers will get bigger and more impressive, and THEY NEED ROOM TO BLOOM.

what do i need to do when my flowers arrive?

First and foremost, make sure you are at your delivery location when your flowers arrive.  This is especially important if you are having your flowers delivered when it is hot or cold.  Flowers left outside during inclement weather may be severely damaged.

Second, remove all of your flowers or bouquets from their delivery boxes.  They have traveled a long way to get to your doorstep and are packed tightly in their boxes.  While this is the customary way all flowers are shipped, they will need some time to hydrate and open up before they are ready to go.  DON'T BE SURPRISED IF YOUR FLOWERS LOOK TIRED UPON ARRIVAL.  THIS IS PERFECTLY NORMAL.  You don't look your best after a long international flight, either.  Both people, and flowers, are usually looking for a good drink and some time to stretch out once they arrive at their destination.

Third, once you have removed your flowers from their shipping boxes, give each stem a "fresh cut".  This is a fancy way of saying, cut each stem (preferably at a 45 degree angle) AND IMMEDIATELY PLACE IN CLEAN CONTAINERS OF FRESH WATER.

DO NOT OVERCROWD YOUR FLOWERS in their hydrating buckets.  Once your flowers start drinking, they will be begin to open up.  In order for your flowers to look their best, YOU MUST GIVE THEM ROOM TO BLOOM.

Fourth, let your flowers relax for at least 24 hours before distributing.  THEY DO NOT NEED TO BE REFRIGERATED.  Just store them in a cool location, away from direct sunlight, heat sources or drafts.  Let them do their thing and you'll be amazed how gorgeous they will look the next day.

Can i order just the number of flowers that we pre-sell on the order form?

No.  Our farms ship their flowers in boxes that are designed to fit a certain number of stems or bouquets.  The exact number is shown under each product.  Some products have more than one option; meaning you can order a smaller or larger quantity, but you must order the number of flowers or bouquets listed under each size.  The farms cannot customize the number of flowers within each box.

While this may be a cause of initial concern, it really is not an issue.  During your consultation with our Flower Conceirges, we will go over the correct number and type of flowers for you to sell and make recommendations as to the proper number of boxes to purchase when you contact us to place your final order with Flowers for Fundraising.  Again, we are absolutely committed to your success with this fundraiser and we don't want you to lose money by having unsold product.

In addition, most, if not all of our clients, find having some additional flowers available on the day of their distribution is a good thing.  Often times people forget to order in time, or additional people show up and want to know if they can purchase a bouquet on the spot.  And, while we carefully select all of our farms for their superior quality, occasionally a box may be damaged in travel resulting in a few unusable stems.  A few extra flowers is your insurance policy in these circumstances.

And finally, a little "pro tip":  Let your customers know that placing an order for their flowers online is their only guarantee of receiving any.  You may have a very limited supply on the day of distribution, but the price for each bouquet will be higher.

If this is still a concern, please contact one of our Flower Conceirges and ask about our "individual bouquet"  selling options.

what our students say

Marc Saunders

I've taken several photography courses before, but this one was by far the most comprehensive and well-structured. The curriculum covered everything from camera settings to composition to editing, and the instructor was able to break down complex concepts into easy-to-understand terms. I would highly recommend this course to anyone looking to improve their photography skills.

Cole Beltran

I've been a hobbyist photographer for years, but I felt like I was stuck in a rut and not improving. This course gave me the inspiration and motivation I needed to take my photography to the next level. The instructor's passion for the subject was contagious, and I loved how they challenged us to try new techniques and experiment with different styles.

Jana Alexander

As a professional photographer, I'm always looking to learn new skills and stay up-to-date with the latest trends. This course exceeded my expectations and provided me with valuable insights and practical tips that I was able to apply to my work immediately. I also appreciated the sense of community among the students and the opportunity to connect with other like-minded individuals.

Hari Santiago

What I loved about this course was the personalized feedback I received from the instructor. They took the time to review my work and provide constructive criticism that helped me identify my strengths and weaknesses. I also appreciated the supportive and collaborative learning environment, where students were encouraged to share feedback with each other.

Janice Rose

This course was a game-changer for me. I had been struggling to find my own style and voice as a photographer, but the instructor provided me with the tools and guidance I needed to develop my own unique perspective. I also appreciated the emphasis on creativity and experimentation, which gave me the confidence to take more risks and try new things.

Mathew Barrera

I was amazed at how much I learned in such a short amount of time. The course was structured in a way that allowed me to build on my skills and knowledge with each lesson, and the practical exercises helped me put theory into practice. I'm excited to see how much I'll continue to improve with the skills I've learned in this course.
